Written/filmed in 2004 by Mark Baranowski for his biographical THE POWERFUL PLAY DVD, “The Pain Helps” is a track off his THE FLESH & BLOOD SHOW album (for which he used the pseudonym MARQUIS). The music video features Baranowski himself as a Christian filmmaker tortured by the exploitative images he’s been forced to create in order to be “successful”; naked & tempting female flesh provided by tantalizing actresses Ryli Morgan, Rachelle Williams, Tracy Ellis and Brinke Stevens.
