Vulnerable and brave freeing experience, past a certain self-conscious threshold.
Its bold and sensual at the same time.
Touching and beautiful shapes of human body emerged from the collapsing against each other.
Humanity in all its tender glory, a tumbling web of limbs interweaving, leaving traces of connection. Slender bodies stagger to rise and role as one, leaving onlookers to wonder whether we just witnessed a tale of touch and fusion or inherent isolation.

Julia Kiryanova (Russia) is an independent multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Kiryanova is known for her paintings and performances using nude bodies and confronting vulnerability with sexuality. A fascination for people lies at the heart of much of Kiryanova’s work. Freedom of expression, sensuality and boldness are the basis of all her works.
Her performances show the beauty and cruelty of nudity. Freedom of expression and vulnerability are key in her work. Some of the performances are actually made into video-art, providing the onlooker the chance to relive the experience over and over again.
