Age-restricted content for mature audiences. “Fuck for the Heir Puppy Bear” (February, 2008) is part of a 3 act play by Russian art group Voina (“War”). On February 29th, 2008, art group Voina staged the “Fuck for the Heir Puppy Bear!” action 2 days prior to the presidential elections on March 2. The ‘collective fuck’ action was the main act of an event which unfolded in 3 stages:

Stage 1- the fuck-slogan first appeared beside the flags of demonstrating pro-Kremlin youth at a political rally on February 23rd. The rally was set to support the presidential candidacy of Dmitry Medvedev [a.k.a. the Puppy Bear].

Stage 2 – the main act took place on February 29, 2 days before the elections, in the Biological museum with 8 pairs joining in a ‘political fuck’.

The last act – Stage 3 – took place the day after the Puppy Bear [a.k.a. Mevdedev] won the election by a landslide, on March 3, in St. Petersburg, at the oppositions Dissenters March. When people took to the streets to protest against the upcoming rule of the Putinist junta they cheered for the Voina slogan flying above the crowd: “I fuck the Puppy Bear”.
