[PLEASE READ] The Hollywood starlet vies for a $1,000 prize before a panel of celebrity judges in an episode of “The Great American Strip-Off”—a short-lived and unique “curiosity piece” of American television entertainment with a veneer of Hollywood respectability. The prize-seeking performers, both male and female, were amateur strippers who entertained judges and audiences with their own choreographed and “tasteful” routines. How did Monique fare? She lost the contest, but won the “war”—the same year she appeared as (what else?) a stripper in the box-office smash FLASHDANCE.
