Broadly I wanted to explore the human form. During this process I decided to discuss censorship, especially that of the female form. I treated my body as the sculpture and started with words that objectify my form. As the paint covered my body I left the areas that would normally be covered by censor bars bare. The length is important because it shows how much effort it takes to cover or obscure pars of the body.
The video features a pale-skinned woman with short hair performing an artistic piece. She stands nude against a dark background, using markers and brushes to write numbers and words like 'SEXUAL' across her breasts, abdomen, and hips. Black tape is applied in strips to her body, partially covering painted areas while leaving her nipples and genitals exposed.
