International Multimedial Art Festival – IMAF is an annual event dedicated to performance art. International Festival of Multimedial Arts – IMAF has created a context in which different artists of various nationalities and age come together and, through their individual work, create a variety of research and suggestions on the medium of body and performance. As such, IMAF is not merely a festival, but a place where new ideas and conditions of performance, in the broader sense of art, become evolutionarily classified and researched. This performance art piece, “Protest II” by Lenka Klodova from IMAF 2016, features a nude woman with body paint resembling ropes or webbing. She stands confidently exposing her breasts and pubic area in a dimly lit gallery space. Attendants later position her supine body encased in tight fishnet, highlighting her exposure in a choreographed tableau.
