This patient is not in a real medical examination, this video was filmed by the University to show the process of the vaginally examination in class.

If this were a real medical examination, this would take place upto one year after birth for a final inspection each 3 months after birth for damage and disease.

The swab is examined by lab for disease, or anything strange, during the stabbing process the doctor is watching for any abnormal.
