The 2004 London naked bike ride was the first ever collective naked bike ride in the UK, it took place on a June evening with riders meeting at speakers corner in Hyde Park with the route taking a circular tour around the parks perimeter road in protest against car culture and oil dependency + other green issues.

Just over 50 people took part with the ride experiencing some rain along the route and finishing in darkness.

This naked bike ride inspired many other naked rides both in the UK and other countries around the world, full marks to all the brave people who took part as know one knew how it would pann out or if we would even be allowed to ride naked, the ride now goes through central London with 1200-1500 people taking part..
