Iroha uta is an ancient Japanese poem; its cryptic sentences reflect the idea of “mujo”, the impermanence of everything, a fundamental concept of Buddhism.
In this private play La quarta corda met a Japanese calligraphy master. They played with the gourgeus coldeyes enjoying the beauty of wabisabi.

Ropes: La quarta corda
Sho: 良友
Model: coldeyes
Video: Davide Baldini

The video features a woman of Asian descent bound in traditional Japanese shibari ropes, with her breasts exposed and adorned in black kanji calligraphy including 'Iroha'. It opens with close-up views of her bare buttocks gripped by a man's hand, framed in a thin red thong. The artistic sequence ends with the title 'Iroha' and its poetic translation.
