NOISE FROM THE MATRIX is a performance that through the use of a contact microphone creates a technofeminist rite of post-porno and noise. The action aims to generate a sound protest through the action of female masturbation and thus raise the voice of our disputed territory: a dissident body that cries out for the right to pleasure and its freedom of action in this political territory.

It is for this reason that through this action we want to give voice to those spaces in dispute, that for a long time have not been seen and unappreciated, and that today thanks to this technological rite of cyborg-witchcraft find a place from which to express their freedom of will, of decision and feminine sovereignty over our right to decide about our bodies. Today, we women have said enough is enough, my body is a territory that responds first and foremost to pleasure and enjoyment and not to compulsory reproduction, and every action that we carry out with, responds directly to its will.

NOISE FROM THE MATRIX is a performance that has been presented in different formats: video performance, individual and collective performance, durational performance, as well as online collaborative metaformance. This interaction between the female and the audience will make it possible to create other points of conflict in the development of the performance, which propose imaginaries in the spectator that might have to do with specifics structures of power and gender difference.

The performance has been presented in Live Performers Meeting 2022 (Italy), Vondelbunker 2023 (Holland), IDKF 2022 (Germany), Performacula 2023 (Germany) and Porny Days Festival 2023 (Switzerland).
