The Algarve, Portugal’s southernmost region is famous for its natural beauty and pleasant climate. With over 300 days of sun per year, it’s also a perfect place for outdoor photography, filming and naturism.

FOR THIS SPECIAL PHOTOGRAPHY TUTORIAL, master photographer PETTER HEGRE and favourite model ANNA L, drove down to the coast to find a golden and desolate naturist nude beach, all with dramatic limestone cliffs, hidden coves and a calm and welcoming Atlantic ocean. The hazy, early morning light was like having a giant soft box high up in the sky, making it perfect for nude photography and landscape shots alike.

As a photographer, there are times when all the elements work in your favour. What matters is just to be there and seize the moment. Like this wonderful day in The Algarve, Portugal!
