The island of Bali is a province of Indonesia and well known for its wonderful, natural beauty. It has a rich culture dating back thousands of years. And the first thing you sense when you visit the island is a certain spiritual vibe that you won’t notice anywhere else. Like the very special dance and music, the incredible food, and the warmth and hospitality of the Balinese people.

IN THIS TUTORIAL WE FOLLOW master photographer PETTER HEGRE in the middle of a nude figure session in what must be the closest thing to The Garden of Eden on earth. The exotic and fertile vegetation all around creates a perfect backdrop for the naked human figure, colouring the images with a spiritual touch.
Here, HEGRE shows you how to aim for the perfect shots as well as how to guide your model through the various positions and turns throughout the session.

Like what often happens in the tropics, a sudden rainfall took place in the middle of the shooting. And as you’ll see, only enhanced the splendour of the nature of Bali. And additional spice to the whole photo session!
