“Play Nice” is a comedy film centered around a woman named Laine (played by Terri Treas) who works as a security guard. Laine finds herself in a challenging situation when her ex-boyfriend, a serial con artist named Kirby (played by George Shannon), gets released from prison and seeks revenge on her. Kirby enlists the help of his new partner, Dennis (played by Matthew Penn), to carry out elaborate schemes against Laine.

As Laine tries to protect herself and outsmart Kirby, she must also navigate her complicated relationships with her quirky coworkers and deal with the unexpected advances of a persistent admirer named Walter (played by Peter Brocco). Along the way, Laine finds her strength and resourcefulness tested as she tries to stay one step ahead and survive the chaos unfolding around her.
