Naked Lunch was written with intents similar to Alfred Jarry’s when he presented “Ubu Roi” in Paris in 1896. I presented it to a conceptually avant-garde school quoting Sartre’s “No Exit” and literally referencing William Burroughs. This film has no meaning.
This student film unfolds on a sunny urban rooftop with a bohemian vibe. A shirtless man lounges and eats casually amid scattered props. Nude women appear in intimate poses, including straddling and leaning provocatively. The black-and-white filtered shots evoke surreal, erotic artistry.
