This video was shot for the purpose of teaching photoraphs. Theme: the use of mixed light.
1. The recording was done during a real photo shoot. Conditions: light from the window was used as a drawing source. Constant light sources illuminated the shadows. Then, there was a replacement: daylight from the window served as a filler. And the constant-light lamps served as a drawing light.
2. During shooting, knowledge of classical poses is required (frequently used body positions and positioning of arms and legs). Usually, the photographer and the model select the poses and light patterns in advance and save them. For example, in the form of an album of photos. Template images are a necessary foundation for starting the creative process. It’s like a warm-up for an athlete. Technically well-executed patterns of poses and light are liked by the photographer and the model. But they may seem boring to a spoiled viewer. Therefore, you need to look for original poses.

3. The hustle and bustle on set kills the creative atmosphere. Changing the position of the model and the movement in the frame require changing the light pattern. Rearranging lighting fixtures sometimes results in rearranging furniture and removing foreign objects from the frame. The model waits and loses her mood. Consider that you need to re-adjust the person you are filming. You need to think about the locations and the lighting scheme in advance. Sometimes it is better to use one mobile light source to illuminate the model. All other lamps or flashes should be directed at interior items, making them a background and filling light source.
