Tableau vivant czyli żywy obraz, tu bardziej seria obrazów w wykonaniu grupy The Delirium Constructions pod wodzą amerykańskiej artystki Sarah Small. Spektakl z PowerHouse Arena w 2010 roku podczas corocznego 3-dniowego DUMBO Arts Festival na Brooklyn w Nowym Jorku. Dumbo to oficjalny rejon Brooklyn’u przy moście łączącym Brooklyn z Manhattan i jest to dość zabawnie utworzony skrót od nazwy Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. W dosłownym tłumaczeniu “na dole pod manhattańskim wiaduktem”, ale nie pochwalam tego rodzaju spolszczeń wbrew wytycznym profesora Miodka 🙂

This performance art piece features a diverse ensemble of nude performers striking dramatic, static poses on a multi-tiered staircase. Live violinists add a musical layer to the ritualistic atmosphere in the indoor venue. Directed by Rina Fand with music by Adam J. Thompson, it blends body positivity and classical tableau influences.
