[PLEASE READ] Karla, a secretary from Houston, Texas, vies for a $1,000 prize before a panel of celebrity judges in an episode of “The Great American Strip-Off”—a short-lived and unique “curiosity piece” of American television entertainment with a veneer of Hollywood respectability. The prize-seeking performers, both male and female, were amateur strippers who entertained judges and audiences with their own choreographed and “tasteful” routines. Fun, “historic” footage from the 1980s.

Karla performed her routine at least twice. This video incorporates clips from both performances. I have judiciously replaced the “blue-eyed-soul” song Karla originally used with something more powerful.
