World Record Highest Naked Skydive, 22,400ft, Diani, Kenya.

On 6th July 2017 four of us spent 45 mins breathing oxygen in a freezing Seneca (-18C) as we slowly climbed to 22,400ft above the Indian Ocean resort of Diani in coastal Kenya. Just before sunset the three of us (Pete Sharwood-Smith, Pete Cheek and a man know only as Olly) tipped out of the open side of the plane, quickly gaining stability in a three way belly down formation. This quickly became a four-way as the also-naked Gary Lincoln-Hope (AFF instructor and Owner of Skydive Diani) joined us. 105 seconds of freefall later and some slightly warmer bits…. we deployed our canopies only to be greeted by a full on party inc cake on the beach for my Pete Cheek’s birthday. (which he wore most of on his face) …. plus TV cameras!
