*CORRECTION* The aspect of the film that would’ve pushed it to an R rating was the use of blood and gore. However, I’m sure unnecessary nudity wouldn’t have helped their case. A lot of people don’t know that the original opening for Jaws (1975) was actually filmed and shown in the middle of the day.
